Philanthropy
Tri Deltas are passionate about serving others.
We remain dedicated to three aspects of philanthropy: sisters helping sisters through Tri Delta’s Foundation, our commitment to changing the way the world treats and defeats childhood cancer through our work with local and regional children’s hospitals and pediatric cancer initiatives and through our national partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Chapter Philanthropy
The Denver Alumnae Chapter of Tri Delta had their first philanthropy event benefitting Denver Children's Hospital cancer center in 1972 after a member's daughter was diagnosed with childhood leukemia. In the years that followed, the Delta Delta Delta Fund for The Children's Hospital. In 1991 an endowment was established at Children’s Hospital Foundation which today totals over $2.2+ million dollars. Earnings from this endowment are used by Children's Hospital Colorado Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders for many clinical programs, research, treatment, and a patient/family support fund.
